Getting to know me

this post was originally written here but I wanted to repost it (with a few additions)

Things you should know about me if we are going to be BFF:

I have a serious owl collection

I despise bananas, pickles and cucumbers

I do not watch scary movies or anything that involves animal cruelty

I cannot stand whistling

I moved to Austin from Dallas in August 2008 and thought I would only be here a year

I have never had a cigarette or tried any illegal substance

I really like Colorado Bulldogs but I rarely drink

I would choose sour candy over chocolate any day

I first talked to Allen on myspace

I will go days without washing my hair

I have a deviated septum and I dream of having it fixed one day soon

I have only ever had 3 boyfriends

I'm a beauty school drop-out

I wear fake nails because I'm a habitual nail biter

In 5th grade I was hit in the head (hard) with a softball and I swear it's the reason for my lack of memory

I'm homesick every day

I'm a procrastinator

If I read in a car, I get carsick but I suffer through it on our drives to Dallas

I paid off my first ever car and then turned around and bought a new one

I have 20/20 vision

My dogs are my children (for right now)

I cannot stand the smell of gasoline, bananas or sharpies

I have two tattoos that I really wish I had never gotten

I have asthma that is severly allergy induced


Allen and I got engaged on Christmas day 2010

I could listen to country music all day everyday without interuption

I had an extremely short haircut back in my early teens that I hate seeing photos of til this day

I'm obsessed with my Canon Rebel xsi but I'm not very good with it in complete manual yet
