So after taking that photography class on Sunday I decided on Monday evening right before sunset to take the dogs out to the bluebonnets in the field behind our house. They were quite distracted from the nearby gas station car wash so I didn't get many of them that were decent but I did get snap-happy on the bluebonnets themselves. Then again on Tuesday night right after I got home from work I went back out there by myself and took a few photos of the bluebonnets, wild flowers, a ladybug and then came back to the house to get a couple more photos of my adorable pugs in the backyard.
I'm feeling like I'm getting the hang of my camera a bit more and really enjoying taking photos again while adjusting the settings for the situation. Sure beats the old standby "sports" setting I was always using before.
This weekend will be spent in Dallas with family for Easter and celebrating my Mother-in-laws birthday. I'm sure I'll have many more photos to share on Monday when we get back into town. Have a wonderful weekend y'all!

OH MY GOSH. Your dogs are soooo precious. I have a major weakness for pugs, and that last one made me want to run out and get one STAT! Also, your photography is beautiful!! I have been shooting on auto for over a year now and decided it's time I learn, so I just bought a Groupon for a class...glad to see that you learned so much from yours!
