Our "Love Wall"

For almost a year and a half this one wall in our living room was home to a variety of family photos & frames I had collected. When our lease was coming to an end over the summer I removed all the frames from the wall and left it blank for a month or so.  Then we decided to sign a short term lease to keep us in this house until early 2013.  I couldn't stand the blank wall & decided I wanted to start incorporating some of our favorite wedding photos so I knew what was there before wasn't going back up.

such a 'mis-mash'

So over the past few months I've been working on this wall with items that speak to mine & Allen's relationship, wedding & love.  If you follow me on Instagram then you would see that it's changed a little bit over this time period with the common theme still the same.

I've had a hand in creating many of the pieces on our wall and that makes it even more special to me.  And I have to say that as of today, I may finally have it just the way I want it.

Clockwise:
'Love is all you need' sign from Walmart, B&W Engagement canvas from Canvas on Demand, Love Story Map print created by me for our first anniversary, 'You're my happily ever after' frame from Walmart, 11.12.11 created by me (Handmade Expressions by PerfectlyJenn), 'Love you more' sign from Kirklands, wedding photo canvas from Pictage, Texas cutout created by me (Handmade Expressions by PerfectlyJenn), Love Story print created by me
Center:
grey monogram used in our wedding and painted by me, wedding invitation & photo frame from Kirklands

What do you think?

I know that eventually I'll paint the perfect Roberts family sign that I can incorporate in this wall but for now this is perfect and so meaningful.

I'm absolutely in love with what I've deemed our "Love wall"

It looks great! Sometimes those "simple" picture walls are a lot harder work than we think...huh? Love how it turned out!

This looks great, Jenn! You did an awesome job putting it together. I started a gallery wall in our bedroom with different photos and love quotes and I've been looking to add to it. Thanks for the inspiration!

It looks great. I want to do something similar with a blank wall in our bedroom. What does the print with the three dates say? I want to do one with the day we started dating, engaged, etc but need something cute to put on it.

Such a beautiful wall. I love that you created most of the stuff that is hanging. I can't wait to make the map picture, after we're married in July :) this has encouraged me to fill some of our blank walls! Gorgeous!

I need you to know that I love this wall. I totally copied it too. I think I saw it on HouseofHepworths last year? I can't remember but I had copied the picture of it & printed it out. I kept meaning to find you again to tell you I copied you & give you a picture of it but couldn't find you! I went through my pictures today to print some out & found the pic I had saved & your url across the pic!! phew! NOW, if I only had a pic of my wall to show you but it will have to wait until I get home. THanks for the inspiration. My BF is making one as well! SUch fun!!
