So I couldn't think of a better title . . lame, I know. But it basically tells you exactly what today's post is all about.
What it doesn't tell you are all the quirks to this post that you will quickly see when you click play on the below video.
- I ramble. A lot. Not only do I ramble but because it's just me and the camera, I'm basically talking to myself.
- I make some interesting faces. Especially during the fast-forwarded sections. Enjoy
- I had to fix my bra straps way too much. Just watch and count for me how many times you see it happen. I blame my Mom's side of the family and their sloped shoulders. Thanks genetics
- If I had left this video in it's natural, un-cut/un-edited state it would be over 40 minutes long. The fact that I got it down to 16 minutes is almost a miracle. It's the rambling y'all and the insane amount of hair I have on my head.
- I sniffle and scratch the side of my nose entirely too much as well. My hair makes my face itch and I've got the Austin allergies . . sorry about that.
- I really did say "Don't judge me." And I meant it too. If you don't have anything nice to say after viewing this video I'd appreciate you clicking the red X and just going about the rest of your day.
- I forgot to say Goodbye and that is rude so I apologize
There are plenty of other hair curling tutorials out there that are WAY better and I know this. However, when you've been asked as often as I am to show how I do my hair then you kind of wear down and think it can't be that bad to just video it, can it? Well my attempt to make a hair tutorial is far from perfect but I hope you will enjoy it anyway.
With all that being said I hope each of you get something from this even if it's just a good laugh, I'm okay with that

I'm seriously about to attempt this... but with a regular curling iron. I wish I had a small enough screwdriver to remove the clippy thing. Oh, well. LOL.
How do you not mess the curls up with you sleep? I do have to wash my hair every day but if this ends up taking me 40 minutes... I want it to last a day or two. Haha.
I bought a curling wand and my hair didn't hold the curl, boo! I had to buy some fancy (too expensive) rotating barrel curling iron, but at least it holds the curl! Your hair looks so pretty!
So much easier than I thought! Go you!

OMG! Love this! I have a TON of hair like you, so tutorials that make it seem quick and easy always make me feel like I'm doing something wrong. I might have to buy a wand and try this out! :)

Your hair is beautiful. I thought I had a lot of hair but maybe not that much. ;) Mine is thick and I too am lucky to not have to wash everyday!! With all that time you take to get those curls, I'd hate to wash them out the next day! I am getting my one of those curling wands. I curl my hair with my Sedu flatiron and it holds for days!
Ugh, so I got one of these wands like three months ago and STILL haven't used it bc I am so sadly uncoordinated. I may have to watch this over & over before I can do it. But it has inspired me to try again, so there's that! Haha

I'm so happy you did this! I have the hardest time curling my hair with my CHI and I feel that my curling iron doesn't get high enough on my hair. I'm definitely going to have to invest in one of these wands!

I thought I had a lot of hair, but good gracious, girl! My hair is naturally curly, but I use a 1" flat iron to "fix" pieces. I'm impressed that it only takes you 40 minutes to curl all that hair!! It used to take me at least an hour to straighten mine when I used to.
Oh and for the record, you're adorable and your hair is gorgeous. :)

I have hair-envy! My hair curls really well, but it's 'thin' and not nearly as long as I'd like it to be.

Saw this back when you posted but just had time to watch. It's great. I tried to follow along with you. Some of my ends were a tad bit straight. How do you prevent yours from doing that? I thought I had it close enough to the end cause I burnt my finger. Oh and I just thought I had a lot of hair!!
