{Handmade Expressions} It is well with my soul

A few weeks ago a lovely blog friend (Hi Lacey!) sent me a pin she had found and loved and asked me if I was able to recreate it for her home.  I of course jumped at the chance because I love taking on a new project and seeing how it will come out.  She wanted hers more antique looking so that's the direction I took when painting it so as not to be an exact replica of the original pin

This project turned into one that I wish I had actually thought of and wished I could of kept for my home but now I'll just have to recreate it again sometime for myself.

Lacey has already hung it on her wall and she's working on building a gallery wall around it with a cross she recently purchased as well.  I'm excited to see what else she pairs with it!
