INSTA+LATELY

  • I drove to Dallas on Thursday to make sure I was in town on time to attend Rachael's bachelorette party/hen do - Isn't she beautiful?!
  • Friday lunch with my favorite person after a worrisome* morning
*Friday morning started out with Allen driving to Dallas from Austin.  He called me at 9:40am to say he was leaving and when I hadn't heard anything from him at all in a couple hours then I got a text from his mom pretty much wondering why he wasn't answering her calls (which is not like him), I knew it was strange that he hadn't talked to her or attempted to call me.  After trying to call him more times then I could count, I had just gotten off the phone with a highway patrol office asking about accident reports when he walked in the door of my parents house calling my name.  I burst into tears because as much as I was trying not to worry, I had been.  Come to find out his phone had frozen at 10:24am and hadn't been working since.  He had even stopped at multiple gas stations looking for a pay phone with no luck.  Needless to say I was super relieved when I could just give him a big hug and forget the worry because it didn't matter now that he was with me again.  We went to AT&T to get his phone checked out but it was so frozen that they couldn't access any of his contacts, etc but we weren't willing to shell out the $$ just yet to replace it so we went home and right before we left for the rehearsal the battery finally died.  After charging it back up again it worked perfectly so he's still using that phone for now.  And before you ask if he did a hard reset using the center home button and top lock button, he couldn't because his top lock button has been pressed in and not working for months.
  • With my handsome date at Rachael & Adam's rehearsal dinner

  • Spent Sunday at the Gaylord Texan with Adam, Rachael, their families and my parents celebrating Adam's first birthday as a husband

  • The slice of cheesecake they brought out for Adam was as big as my face & amazingly good!
  • My outfit for the night - rockin' my peplum top from Poshmark and my black velvet blazer I got years ago at Goodwill
  • my 3 passengers on the ride back to Austin after an amazing weekend

  • I have to admit that I absolutely love still seeing the sun shining at 7pm

Not hearing from my hubby would worry me as well.. I can only imagine the anxiety you felt, but I am glad nothing serious had happened to him :) And your neon green striped top is so CUTE! I love Groop Dealz! Just ordered a necklace from there yesterday (but don't tell my husband) haha ;)
