Yes and no. Still able to fit into some of my regular items and pairing them with maternity items I've been collecting.
Our date to find out is set for August 22nd - y'all that's this Thursday!! We will be announcing it to all our family and friends first then possibly social media within a few days
I swear I felt something last night and I'm just hoping that it was truly our baby! I had my knees kind of pulled up to me while sitting on the couch and I felt what I can only describe as a flutter on the right side of my stomach. I know it wasn't "gas" like some people I've heard confuse baby movement as because I haven't been gassy lately. I can't wait to feel it again so I can be sure!
Still getting up a couple times a night for a ladies room trip but other than that I seem to be sleeping well for the most part. And sleeping later in the morning keeps happening as well
What I miss:
I miss sleeping on my stomach, drinking carbonated drinks and I really miss beer! Every time Allen has a beer I have to smell it and it smells SO good!
I caved to my Dr Pepper craving and completely paid for it later on in the night on Sunday. I've also really been craving Home Slice pizza (local restaurant) and luckily I'll get some later this week
The past week has been a little rough, food wise for me. Foods that I used to love are now not appealing at all and almost every meal has gone horribly with me not eating more than a few bites. Nothing sounds good anymore and it's becoming increasingly difficult to find something I can actually eat. However, that's really not applying to snack foods. I can eat those no problem, it's meals with real substance and healthy ingredients that I find myself having a hard time with. I feel like maybe it's my tastes buds that have changed but I'm not sure what the issue is.
Favorite Moment This Week:
After a failure of a meal I made (for me at least, Allen loved it) on Saturday night I decided that the only thing that really "sounded" good was pancakes. So I whipped some up with good ol' Bisquick mix, added blueberries and because they needed some extra substance, I added a couple scoops of Advocare Muscle Gain (protein). They were so good and I ate three!
Worst Moment This Week:
As I was fixing my hair to take the above photo yesterday I was looking at my roots and noticed a really "shiny" hair near my part so I inspected it closer only to find that it was a gray hair! I've never noticed a gray hair before and it really made me sad.
Looking Forward To:
Finding out the gender of our lil' one in TWO days!!
